Meet at the Preserve Entrance and parking lot, 316 North Cambridge Road, Cambridge We are fortunate to have Liz Thompson, one of Vermont’s top botanists and ecologists, leading this walk on the Preserve. Liz is a co-author of the well-known publication Wetland, Woodland, Wildland and has dedicated her career to conservation in Vermont and New England, over the years working for the Vermont Land Trust, The Nature Conservancy, and the Vermont Natural Heritage Inventory, as well as teaching at UVM. She is a leading conservationist, involved, among other projects, with the new Wildlands, Woodlands, Farmlands and Communities partnership and in planning for the 2025 Eastern Old Growth Forest Conference, to be held in Vermont.
