Spring Bird Walks, May and June

Springtime is an ideal time for birding by ear and by eye, as migratory species return to join our year-round residents. Plan for a slow walk to enjoy the Preserve and the singing of the birds.

Over 70 species of birds have been sighted at the Krusch Preserve, and we will be locating as many of them as possible by sight and sound. All levels of birders are welcome! Sally Laughlin will lead the walks, joined by Roo and Jack Slagle for the June walk. The Preserve trails are somewhat steep so wear sturdy shoes, and dress for the weather.
