Insect walk with Spencer Hardy

Do you wonder what bees may be  buzzing around your garden or yard? Come join the Insect Walk at the Krusch Preserve with expert bee biologist Spencer Hardy of Vermont Center for Ecostudies.
For the past 5+years, Spencer has traversed the state chasing bees and trying to better understand the status of these incredible insects in Vermont. We now know there are more than 350 species here and we have assigned conservation rankings to most of them, but many questions remain. While some species are very challenging to identify, more than 100 species can be identified in the field.

Meet at the Krusch Parking lot at 12:00pm.
