Join Vermont Butterfly Atlas Coordinator Nathaniel Sharp from the Vermont Center for Ecostudies for a leisurely and informative pollinator walk around the Krusch Preserve. From bees to butterflies to hover flies, pollinators may be more diverse than you think, and many species will be active during the peak of the summer season. Attendees can expect to learn about pollinator identification with a focus on butterflies, the basics of the Vermont Butterfly Atlas project, and how they can contribute data from their own homes, gardens, and local natural areas to projects that increase our understanding of Vermont’s crucial pollinator communities
Meet in the parking lot at 316 North Cambridge Rd at 1:00pm.
