In April Mary Fiedler led a walk attended by four people. We walked to the Sandblow and saw several signs of spring! We saw trout lily leaves and yarrow leaves popping up from the ground. We also noticed yellow violet leaves. We saw a Cecropia Moth chrysalis on an alder tree which was connected to a leaf and studied several Cellophane Bee nests on the sandy path up to the meadow. We heard Pine Warblers, Phoebes, and Chickadees. We saw White Throated Sparrows and Phoebes and found an owl pellet. The company was lovely and the walk was successful although rather cool and cloudy!
